July 30, 2011: Treating Couples During the Recovery Process, to be held at Swedish Medical Center, First Hill Campus, Orthopedic Center (601 Broadway) in Seattle, Washington. Robert Navarra, Psy.D., M.F.T., (http://robertnavarra.net) will conduct a full-day workshop focused on practical tools and exercises for professionals interested in working with recovering couples. John Gottman, Ph.D., will discuss how addiction can prompt betrayals between couples and how couples-based therapy can be used to help couples recover from such betrayals within the addiction recovery process.
